SLWA working together with SERVE
The SLWA Education Scheme has provided funding to SERVE, to give scholarships to a few Social Work degree students.
SERVE is a non profit organisation working towards the empowerment of people, especially women & children.
Sanjeewa De Mel, Director of SERVE, is a committed community development professional. Their banner carries the SLWA logo.
These are a few of the students who benefitted from the scholarships from the SLWA Education Scheme.
National New Year's day
SLWA celebrated National New Year’s day on the 20th April 2024, at Churchill Hall, Churchill Gardens, Pimlico, London.
Musical instruments "for" Boyawalana MV
The SLWA Education scheme provided funds for Boyawalana M V, Keppitiwalana, to purchase musical instruments. They now have adequate instruments to perform at special events
