SLWA Education Scheme Tea Party at the DBU.
The Education Scheme of the SLWA, held a tea party for students on the 23rd of February 2025, at the Dutch Burgher Union Restaurant, Reid Avenue, Colombo.
All the girls who attended had received grants from the SLWA, to help with their education & achieve their goals in their respective fields of study.
The students had a delicious afternoon tea & also got an opportunity to meet students from other parts of the country.
This event was organised by Indira Wimalasena, SLWA Committee member & Trustee, Education Scheme, assisted by Manel Fernando, SLWA Secretary & Fathima Mohammed, SLWA Committee member.
SLWA AGM 2025
The AGM of the SLWA was held on Satursday 29th March 2025, at the Sri Lanka High Commission, 13 Hyde Park Gardens, London W2 2LU.
New Office bearers were elected.
Refreshments were served & the meeting came to a close.
